1. day Arrival in Ulaanbaatar, transfer to the hotel. City tour. Overnight in hotel.
2. day Transfer to airport and flight to Ulgii(about 4 hours). Overnight in tents.
3. day Excursion to the Zagaan glacier stream and on the way visit a Kazakh livestock breeding family. Camping.
4-5. days Drive from Ulgii, alongside the Tolbo lake (bird watching) to Khovd. Camping underneath the starry sky.
6-8. days Drive from Khovd via Khar Us lake and on to Manchan-Altai-over the northern part of Mount Sutai with its perpetual snow. Camping.
9-10. days Drive from Altai to Uliastaiand on to Tosontsengel. During the driving adventures you will experience the fascinating beauty of the scenery and real peace and quiet. Camping.
11-12. days Drive to Tosontsengel-Khorgo-National Park where, over a million years ago, a spectacular natural wonder came into being. Because of volcanic-eruptions from more than 30 volcanoes, there is now the famous White lake, several volcanic craters and fantastic lava caves. Visit a stock breeding family with yaks and horses. Overnight in gers.
13-14. days Drive to Tsetserleg-Kharkhorin.Visit the first Buddhist monastery ErdeneZuu and the ruins of the ancient Mongolian capital. Overnight in ger.
15. day Drive to Ulaanbaatar, overnight in hotel.
16. day City tour including Gandan monastery. Visit the Natural History Museum with its famous dinosaur skeletons. Folklore entertainment in the evening. Overnight in hotel.
17. day Transfer to the airport. Departure
